Will this also help the rev issues in the 07-08's?

Define rev issues?
We did not address anything in the older calibrations, if we did i would of mentioned it.

To upgrade the crom I need to return to stock tune and reset the tool. I cannot do this. When I choose this option, the tool displays "Unable to restore original backup" When i click on "More Info" it says "PCM: error unlock for reflash (-1). What gives and how do I correct this?

Use the Legacy connect instructions on the dsdl and update it without auto connect...

I did like you said mikel. I'm in a catch 22 here. Tool won't accept the new 9t06d_export.crom because I haven't returned the vehicle to stock tune. I can't do that because when I try, it gives me the "PCM: error unlock for reflash (-1). Am I doing something wrong? I need some help here. I have to go back to the dealer for service and I can't show up with a custom tune installed. Please advise a.s.a.p.

Use the Legacy connect option onthe DSDownloader, this way, it will not know you have a backup inthe tool, and it will allow you to update it. Then you can restore the backup once the new crom is on there.

OK, it worked. Didn't know not to power up the predator until AFTER picking the 9t06d_export.crom as the file to load into the tool. Was able to load original factory tune back onto truck. I guess RTFM is true. Thanks for the help. Ed.

PS: Can I now (after trip to the dealer) upgrade to the 9r06 CROM without losing any of the benefit of the 9t06d_export.crom ?

Yes, they are basically the same.
