Don,
Here is some prelim results for the new L30 crom.
My driving habits are easy on the throttle and 90% HWY @ about 100 km/h
I loaded the 9t12c the other day using the 80 hp setting I found:
Truck went into regen after about 5 minutes. Thought it was just a fluke but then it cycled again the next day.It quits regen and then resets itself when I turn off the engine but cycles again after a few minutes. The truck on stock would regen about 2-3 times per tank or about 500km's.
Turbo on stock on a flat hwy w/no wind between 6-8 psi.
turbo on 80 hp tune 11-12 same conditions
I only ran this tune for about 60 km's or so but I want to go back to stock to see if it regens so often.
I did complain a few months ago to the dealer that I used to get 600km to a tank and now I was lucky to get 500km. I had mentioned the EGR but they refused to replace it. After telling them that my boost was running about 10 psi they asked me to drive 'er hard. This is after I had mentioned my grandpa driving habit. So I went out and thrashed the crap out of her for about 30 minutes of lots of acceleration and high revs. Well guess what??, my stock boost went down! So did I get better fuel economy? NOPE! At least my turbos are decarbed LOL
I was hoping that this new tune combined with my lower boost would give me that 600 kms per tank again but I'll never get it if it keeps regenerating.
Need more feedback on this latest tune from other Betas.
Good luck Don!
Sorry for the long winded post
