Segment swap 4l60->4L80

I am going to be doing this to my T/A and I was curious about if it would affect the Diablo in anyway?
And another question would be could you guys also do segment swaps with your diablo software (like for instance in a tune that you send)?
would you be able to do it if I sent my tune out to you after the segment swap?

No one knows?

I would have no means of doing this though a tune, but there are harnesses out there that allow you to swap 4L60e for a 4L80 and run it off the stock PCM

Do I have to worry about the segment swap causing issues?

I am not following your terminology for 'segment swap'?

The segment swap is changing the transmission part of the PCM to read the 4l80 so going from 1 speed sensor to 2

As I understand it, that needs to be addressed in the harness swap as I was mentioning...

The harness swap is part of it (It's actually just moving 2 wires and adding a second VSS plug and running it's wires back to the PCM) but the segment swap needs to be done in the software side.
You can find an OS that has calibrations available that support both 60 and 80. From here, if you know the start/end point of the trans segment it can be done manually with a hex editor. There is one or more commercial software platforms that can help facilitate the swap as well.

Interesting. Will have to look into that.
Sounds doable on our end....
