Suggestions for flash

Post by dyogi »

I recently purchased a 2007 C6. It is completely stock. I also purchased a Predator tuner and was wondering what settings to change. Is the standard Diablo tune OK or does do other settings need to be tweaked. The car has enough power for me, I'm not looking for any real gains but better driveability and perhaps better gas mileage. I'm a bit worried of screwing up the car and ending up with a no start. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Everything always sounds simple enough until I get my hands on it!

Thanks in advance,

Dennis

do some data logging and get your fueling dialed in correctly...

you'll get better throttle response and acceleration, stronger/harder pull, and better mileage...

here's info on how to do it:

I second that, getting your LTFT dialed in makes a world of difference.

Thanks for the information guys! I decided to just jump in and try using it since it sounded so easy. Within a few minutes, the 'Vette was tuned to the supplied "91 octane" tune and started right up. I'll take her out tomorrow and see the difference. Is there any advantage for me to reprogram the predator to a newer up date. I'm reading some horror from some who have done so, I'd rather not screw with it if there is no advantage for me. Mine shows a version 8. Being used on a '07 Corvette.

Thanks again,

Dennis

Checked the unit, the software version is 8R10. Do I need to update? What are the benefits?

Thanks
