earlier versions are probably not as good as the latest versions, that'd be the difference...

if they update the tunes to improve them, they'd always be in the latest/newest revisions...

np man, you're welcome...

yeah, the same holds true for the latest GM updates they've done... they updated all the tunes in the latest revisions while they updated other things...

so, as long as you're on the latest revision for your tool, you've got the best tunes that are available...

Well, I would take that with a grain of salt. Not trying to be a sh!t disturber, but a lot of folks (with the 06s and 07s) have reported their cars run better with the older CROMs. I just picked up an 07 Sublime Daytona and will begin with the 9r08 CROM. There are benefits to these older CROMs, not the least of which is the ability to turn off the rear O2 sensors, EGR, etc.

I actually liked 8t16a the best. Unfortunetly that was before the logging was working right and alot of other stuff.

The newer version fixed problems with new model cars. The canned tunes for your '07 are going to be the same.

X2

I am using 9r12 on my '06. The newer versions seem to just cause problems, plus DS have not improved any of the performance parameters since 9r06.

I'm running 9r13 on my 09 Challenger SRT and it's doing fine. Believe that because it's new doesn't always mean it's better. Also I try to keep a version of all of them in a file just in case.
