I have a 2005 2500 ram 5.7 6 spd stick
Predator U7137 with 9r05 crom
I have the 93 can tune loaded.
I have the a/c "on" idle rpm modified to 1000 rpm.
Here's the catch, the truck idles up only when I push in the clutch. This happens in the normal a/c on mode, or when the truck is running with the defrost set to "on" .
If I push the clutch in with the A/C or defrost off, the idle remains at the normal 750.
Any ideas????
Thanks,
Ted Webster

RE: Idle RPM, A/c on
For what reason did you raise the idle? Are you cammed?

RE: Idle RPM, A/c on
I raised the idle RPM to help warm up time and defrost in the cold north. I start the truck up with the a/c or defrost mode off, to eliminate high revs on startup, then turn on defrost (a/c energized).
To answer your question--- no, I'm totally stock for the time being. Also run full synthetics throughout vehicle

RE: Idle RPM, A/c on
Mike,
I went back with a new crom loaded and re-adjusted the A/C ON in neutral and in drive to 1K rpm.
I have the 93 canned tune loaded. Can't really play with it too much right now, the snow and ice have a limiting traction effect.
Really helped the warmup time
