When will the SD memroy cards be supported?

I am ready to buy a Trinity but want the data card support before I make the purchase.

Thanks,

You could just buy it now, and when DS adds support it will be available via a software update. I wouldn't say the lack of SD support is a reason to wait on a purchase.

Curious, about SD card suppport will this simply allow you to backup / restore (tunes), and the same for firmward updates to the device? Also, will it allow you to store more data when logging data?

It seems as though it is just an alternative to carrying the Trinity around. So, you can load tunes from a CMR dealer, look at logs on the computer, etc without removing the unit from the vehicle. I can't imagine you would need more log space.

How about a camera on the Trinity device to take pics and store them on the SD card so we can take pictures of our cool Trinity tuned vechicles? LOL Kidding.

I just purchased a Trinty. I'm wondering about the support for the SD Card slot. Does the SD card slot work on Trinty with version v.1r07? What what the maximum size SD card will work in the Trinty?

I have seen numerous posts since 1/09 asking for this feature. So, does anyone know when SD card support is going to be avaliable?

Ok, It is in development.

Will it be done by 12/2010, 12/2011?????? Give us a real and realistic date!

I do have one comment. Don't take this the wrong way, but I would have thought this option would have been working from the initial release of this product. This option would give person the option of almost endless space to log to.

ALot of stuff wasn't enabled with the initial release and still isn't. And the public can blame themselves, because they kept whining and bitching about when it was gonna be released. If they would have just kept quiet and let development and testing take place the way it should have, the Trinity would be a much better product.

I assure you there is more than enough space for storing logs on the Trinity, I dont know that anyone has filled one up yet...

IF running out of space for logfiles on Trinity is an issue; You can always connect DataViewer to export and save the logs on your PC/Laptop. Then delete on Trinity.
