Camaro_Trinity Update

The Sticky has Version F as the latest Trinity update, but I see Version G in the download section

I did go ahead and download 06g to my Trinity. But now when I Select Vehicle Type here's how it goes.
.2010
..Chevrolet
...Camaro
....6,2
.....then it displays "this application supports"
and it lists nothing but Vettes. I scrolled down and no Camaro.

Is there something wrong w/ the text display or something???... just has C5 and C6 vetts.
Not sure I want to try it until I find out the answer to this one...

Thanks for your help,
Mike

you did restore your original backup to your car first, before you updated the trinity, right???

so now, after you updated the trinity, you need to go back in and re-select your vehicle, like you did the first time...

after you re-select your vehicle from the list, it will load the new update revision, and then the info page will show the new revision you're on...

I have never loaded any tunes to the car yet... Still on the computer.

Update to G works fine... I re-select car in the steps I showed above... when I get to the end the scroll bar for supported cars only goes to the first 2 corvetts and part of the 3rd. Doesn't have or display the entire list of GM cars and trucks like it did before the update.

I'm thinking it's good to go... just wanted to find out what is in this G update before I load the tune... If this is the new GM OS update then I don't need to revert back. Predator show a list of changes for updates... I don't find this for Trinity...

Thanks for your help..

aaah... ok, so you were able to SELECT your camaro car when selecting the vehicle...

but that list at the end that shows "this tool supports the following vehicles... etc etc etc" and gives you the listing... yeah, it doesn't show my monte carlo ss either...

but who cares...

go to the info page and make sure the revision update id number is the same as the update you installed/applied to it...

That's what I firgured... and the update page does show the G version I loaded. But how do I know what was added to G. like the list of changes the predator shows.

If it's the OS update then I don't want it... Thanks again for your replies...

was the trinity working ok for your camaro before?? had full functionality, adjustability?? if so, then you didn't need to update...

and now, you can't go backwards to a previous revision update either.... cuz it will detect that you're trying to downgrade to a previous/older revision, and won't let you... you'd need to call diablo tech support to force a backwards revision update...

but, doesn't matter... it shouldl still work with your car... the newer update was to add support for the newer camaro GM updates...

It's brand new...working fine so far... Haven't loaded any tunes yet.

I can switch back to the base load without revisions...

Problem is I don't want the new Camaro GM updates.... My ECM has not been flashed to the new OS.

The Predator will not apply any updates, go ahead and tune it!
