I have been a long time Diablosport owner... is there a plan to do a 4.7 Flex Fuel Ram 1500 Predator or Trinity? Before you ask why i bought the 4.7 Flex Fuel over the 5.7 Hemi.... In 2008 the 4.7 Flex Fuel is 310HP 330TQ, and the Hemi is 345 HP and 375TQ... but the 4.7 gets bout 2MPG more and costs less. now in 2007-prior models i woulda went Hemi cause the old 4.7's were pigs with 240HP... the new ones are a different story, and with the flex fuel option and 16 spark plugs in the 4.7 there's alot of power potential out of them. Hypertech claims 47HP and 51TQ with premium fuel for the 4.7, and only managed like 13HP and 17TQ with the Hemi. so the potential is there and i would rather have a Diablosport than a Hypertech, because of the extra adjustability, and i just trust you guys more. i hope you guys do it cause there's alot of the new 4.7 flex fuels around and they are from 2008 -2010 models, and with gas going up alot of people will opt for them

They will have similar functionality and tunes to our HEMI Ram tuners...

easy, they make them up...?
Id honestly love to see numbers like that on a dyno, but in my experience, it will never happen on a late model, Naturally aspirated, EFI application.

that's the reason i trust you guys more... i have a hypertech on the truck now... and i am anxiously waiting for you to give me a predator to work with. the same thing happened with my camaro had a hypertech, and switched to you guys and could tell a big difference in the way the car ran and felt.... just smoother overall and had more of a kick when hammered down

plus you cant beat the support you guys offer... you helped me with my sts turbo tune for the camaro. and i took it to a CMR tuner and he fine tweaked it and got 537HP/634TQ on a Mustang dyno at 4900 RPM and spinning tires on the rollers, and all was tuned on the Predator, and that's something you definitely can't do with Hypertech

some area's gained numbers closer to 38rwhp, the factory tune has many many dips in though. I just spent the last two hours with the owner working on tranny shifting, along with the 2 prime crap they have now. He LOVES the way the truck shifts now, and it gets rid of a lot of the hesitation during downshifts. He said the shifts felt much firmer and much quicker and he's very anxious to see how she performs at the track. Here is a copy of the dyno graph as you can see the factory tune leaves quite a bit to be desired, pay no attention to the a/fs are they weren't actually being displayed.

is that a 2008 4.7 flex fuel graph. they are 310HP 330TQ at the crank... i wouldn't think they would've lost close to 100HP at the wheels? none the less your tuned numbers are alot better. are you still tweaking it? would you be able to create me a file once you get the predator on sale for my K&N FIPK, and dual exhaust addon's? and would that make the numbers gains even higher?

I believe the customer said it was the 310hp one. Our dyno tends to report a little on the low side, however it did make right around 200rwhp stock, so it does seem like it is more like the 235hp engine from yesteryear. However the truck did do 15.1 in the quarter, which is moving for that 4900lb thing and its bone stock. It did have another tuner he borrowed from a friend on it when he ran that however it had knock retard and he did not like the way it shifted. He was happy as a clam by the time he left today.
