U7194 with new 9r13crom: Problem with logging data

U7194, 9r13.crom: 2009 Corvette Z06

I just updated my U7194 with 9r13.crom and I am no longer able to log files. It appears Diablosport has revised the menus.
I can go to Diagnostics, then Real Time Data, and then the old "Gas General Short" option is no longer available. There are a couple of new options, but they both fail (error code) and then it reboots each time I try to access them. I can access a complete list of items by categories (fuel, emissions, ect), but it would take hours to select the proper items to log.

I aasume there is a bug in the new options?
Does anyone have the solution for logging?

Lew,
I will have to plug it back in and write them down. They were totally new to me and I have slept since. I think one was log data and the other is review or playback data, but both set an error and required a reboot.
Where are the old crom files located in case I need to back up one?
Thanks
Vito

I just logged with my U7194 which is on r13. I didn't have any problems. I did notice the "Gas General Short" option was not there so you have to search around the menu to find your options.

Just tried to map the new 9r13.crom Diagnostic's menu, but it’s difficult without plugging into the car (it’s pretty cold out there).

This is what I have so far:
Under the Diagnostics menu it first asks you to "Turn on Ignition but do not start engine. Apply Parking Brake". (This is not possible on a C6 Corvette, but the "Run" condition may work). Then you press "Continue".
Then the choices are "Trouble Codes", "Real Time Data", "Log Graphing", "Log Playback", and "Show Calibration ID".
Then under “Real Time Dataâ€

Might have to have it hooked up to the car so it knows what the computer is capable of recording. No computer means no pids possibly.

yeah, exactly... you have to have it connected to the vehicle, with it running, in order for it to query the ECM and see what matching parameters you have available to log....

Does Diablo publish a new menu with a new .crom

Does anyone have the new menu mapped out, or how to select log items?

I would be interested in seeing this as well! I have searched for the spark retard but must keep missing it.

ok, you just got nominated... you can be the first to do it... ;)

while sitting in your car, and have the key turned on so the predator can access and query the ecm parameters - have the predator connected, get yourself a pen and paper, and go through every single menu and write down the menu section name, and then list all the parameters for that menu section... then go to the next menu section, write down all the parameters that in that one, etc etc...

that would actually help to see if maybe they forgot to add a few parameters in the new revision, like total knock spark retard that you couldn't find... maybe it IS missing...

so once you get those all written out, post up the list here so we can take a look...

Thanks Gun!!

;)

To late! I reverted back to r908 and reinstalled the tune on my vehicle. Much simpler and familiar for me. All the parameters I need for logging are easily found..
