Adding headers

I own the 7191 Pred. I have the Diablo tune with the suggested mods. in place for the tune. After my Blackwing install, I adj. my fuel trims and fan settings with the 160 degree thermostat as well.

I am adding a set of long headers with catted x pipes. Should I reinstall the stock factory tune and start from scratch or can I do a few runs with the existing tune and then just make the suggested adjustments per rediex?

Or, do I have enough mods to finally be able to take advantage of a custom tune from you?

I am stock except for the Blackwing filter and long flow 1 7/8" with 3" pipe that's catted running into a set of Magnaflow mufflers.

I have a 2005 LS2 C6 Corvette with an A4 auto and the Z51 option.

you can do the header/x-pipe install... then put on about 100 miles, then do a new steady driving/cruising data log to see where your average ltft's are at with the new setup, and just make your adjustment...

no need to go back to stock tune first and start all over from scratch...

if you'd like a custom tune to get even better performance, you can check out my info here:

Thanks. If I intend to get your tune should I bother making any adjustments at all first, or just gather the data you need and leave it alone.

you can just gather the new data and send me everything, and I can make the adjustment in addition to all the other stuff I'd be doing for it anyway...
