OK I am a newb...

I was just about to buy the Predator, when I noticed a small amount of talk on another website about the Predator's replacement.... called the "InTune".... it looks alot like an Iphone.

I did a search on "InTune" here, and not much came up. So I figured a new thread was in order.

Mods.... If this is a repost, please guide me to the respective thread and delete this one.

I am looking for more info. I hear it will cost ~$450 and it is coming out in the next couple months.

This was shown, I believe, 3 years ago at SEMA. Considering that they're releasing new Predators, and still working on getting the Trinity right, I wouldn't hold my breath for a release any time soon.

InTune was shown for the first time at SEMA 08, just as a case and blank screen, and this year we were back with full demo units...it will most certainly be released (and blowing minds) sooner than later!

InTune was shown for the first time at SEMA 08, just as a case and blank screen, and this year we were back with full demo units...it will most certainly be released (and blowing minds) sooner than later!

So, 08 was 3 years ago. 08, 09, and this is 10.

Is this unit the reason why we're waiting for everything else.... still?

Nope, InTune and all of its development have thus far taken place at our Michigan engineering arm, headed up by Mike Wesley and his merry band of developers, has had no effect on things here at all.

To me, it still feels like I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, but it has really been a few months (it happens in November), so lets settle and say SEMA 08 was less than 2.5 years ago, and SEMA 2010 is still a distant thought....

so... no preorder taking yet right?

I was told at PRI it was going to be released first 1/4 of 2010, which will be ending in just a couple of weeks, does this mean there are beta or test units available?

so I guess its pretty "hush-hush" for the time being.

I guess I will just keep an eye out for it... and wait to install my headers.

Let me know when you guys need BETAs for this. I can't deal with the Trinity anymore. Its too damn bulky, so I never use it for anything other then tuning. Don't really need it for that.

I agree with the bulky comment. That's why I made this over the weekend. In my opinion, DiabloSport should have made the touchscreen a separate module from the "brains". That would make for a much smaller, cleaner and nicer looking install.

Wish I had the time or desire to do that. Just mounting a pod for my wideband was like pulling teeth for me.
