Using the Data Logging / Live Data Diagnostic section

What are the proper procedures for using the data logging/live data diagnostic section of the tuner? And how are we suppose to interpret the data in order to make the right adjustments? I spoke with a DS representative and they mentioned that I should be looking for numbers close to 0 for the given fields (i.e. spark advance, WOT), however I'm not sure how to get to that information in the first place. I'm also having to run 91 octane instead of 93 because I live in California, which is how this whole inquiry started in the first place.

jcb,
I have not been able to find one on this site. diablo SHOULD provide a doc that shows how to setup and log 4 simple parameters and then we can use that as a basis to monitor other parameters. When I called in to request such a doc last year I was basically told that one did not exist.
