Hey guys,
Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. I have a 2004 Mustang GT with the following mods:
C&L Trueflow Upper Intake Plenum
C&L Trueflow Inlet Pipe
BBK 75mm Throttle Body
MAC Off-road H-pipe
Flowmaster American Thunder 2-chamber Exhaust
Steeda Underdrive Pulley Kit
3.73 Gears
I am interested in purchasing a Diablosport Predator flash tuner, but I am not sure if that's the best option for me.
1) Will the U7146 Tuner offer any of the "OEM Tunes", where I can select my mods from a list and have the tune tailored to what mods I have installed? Or, will I only get the standard "93 Octane Diablo Tune"?
2) Would it be a better choice for me to have a custom tune burned from a local Diablosport retailer?
3) How much horsepower can I expect to get from both of these options?
Thanks for any and all replies you guys can give me. I really want to get this upgrade, but I need to make sure I make the right desicion.

RE: Too Many Mods for U7146?
Since evidently no one decided to tackle your question about being able to select from a list of mods in order to tune with the predator they either did not want to address short comings in the tuner or simply feel that the only way to get the most out of any tune is to have the car tuned while on the Dyno. Typically people charge $300 or more for the tune and $150 an hour for the dyno time needed. With anywhere from 2-3 hours needed possibly less for N/A and more for blown or nitrous applications.
The stock 93 tune will get you where you need to be and fine tuning the tune will compensate for the after market items installed. There is more then enough room for final tweaking for your mods.

1. No, this tool does not contain OEM select tunes.
2. This may be a good idea, especially with the aftermarket MAF.
3. Every modified vehicle will respond differently to tuning...if the current state of tune is way off, you can expect big gains. If the tune is close, the gains will not be as large.
Thanks

RE: Too Many Mods for U7146?
Thanks for the replies guys. It sounds like the U7146 is the best choice for me then. I will buy it and use the 93 octane tune. If anyone else has a better solution, I'm open to suggestions. And I'd still like to know what kind of HP increases I'd see, if it's even possible to estimate.
