08 Mustang GT stock with KN cold air. I installed the KN Tune with firm shifts. I noticed it turned off the TCS. I wanted the traction control on so I adjusted the parameters and turned it back on. When I get on it hard and it downs shifts, the first shift is brisk but there is a "clunk" sound. Is this because I turned on the TCS and its trying to compensate, or do I have a sloppy gear/rear components? Never heard this before the tune no matter how hard I got on it. And BTW, I don't get on it hard very often. Mostly merging onto a highway.

the purpose in the firm shift tunes is to turn off the traction control to allow for more aggressive shifts, so you're in a way contradicting the tune by turning it back on. i would just install a normal kn tune. that gives you the choice to turn your tcs on or off yourself. i have a firm shift tune in my car and i love it, but i get on mine hard pretty often, so it's just personal preference.
