2003 lb7 can't install tune or adjust tire size

Post by doujor »

Just received U7180 (v9R08) to program lb7. Made sure fuses as indicated were pulled and no other added accessories powered up. saved factory tune.(as far as i know factory tune as I just bought the truck, previous owner was using EFI live but said he returned to stock) when I go to the performance tune section no tunes are listed. When I go to adjust tire size on factory tune, it says unsupported. This truck has the suncoast 6speed conversion in it, would this be causing the problem? any help would be appreciated.
I have attached saved tune if this helps.

You need to go to diagnostics and then go to show calid. write down and post all of the names and numbers. This will let us know what GM software version you have installed.

Some really old GM software versions are unsupported. This rarely happens and can be resolved by having the local dealer or independent shop reprogram your truck with a newer version of the GM software that was sometimes added for warranty purposes to resolve complaints.

doesnt tell me anything. I asked you to post it so the diablosport can look at why your truck's software is not supported in the current software of the predator. Since they work Monday - Friday, they would end up asking you for the same information I just did so now you are ahead of the game.

So all my info was sent to engineering on March 3. That was 2 months ago. How much longer do I have to wait for this to be updated.
This is money out of my pocket for a product that does not work, and expect the least you could do is reply back on this forum that you are actually looking after your customers. If no reply, I will be joining every diesel forum I can find in the near future to let everyone know how your company does not look after its customers.
