I know I need a 120 v input 12vdc output adapter but how many amps does the preditor need?

what is the pin size for the adapter (outer/inner) please? I can't find a proper power adapter at any radio shack.

2.5x5.5mm, canter is positive.
12v 1 amp.

radio shack will sell you a univeral "kit" that has all of the common tips and plugs and they use a regulated adapter that regulates the amps based on the device. The kit is quite pricey but most store nowadays only carry the universal kits.
