Taking the custom tune from my email to the predator

I just received my custom tune from dcx and seeing how I am not real computer savy could somebody walk me thru the process of getting the tune from my email to the predator. A step by step would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Sending a custom tune to the Predator:
1. Open up the DSDownloader and connect the Predator to the PC and power it up.

2. On the DSDownloader press the ‘send tune file to Predator’ button.
3. You will get a new window asking you to select the file for download.
4. Browse through the computer to find where you saved the custom tune, and click it once, then press ‘open’.
5. If this is the first time you are sending a tune to the Predator, you will get a new window saying a valid base file could not be found. Click ‘Yes’.
6. Now, direct the DSDownloader to look in your desktop or wherever you saved the backup file and highlight it, then press open.
7. The DSDownloader will automatically compare these files to determine if they are the same size and of the same calibration.
8. Once it determines the files are OK, it will download the file to the Predator. This will all happen very fast, usually in under 10 seconds.
9. The DSDownloader will tell you that the download was successful, and the Predator will say ‘import OK’.
10. You may now unhook the Predator and go to the car to install the custom tune.

How do I move the file from the email to the computer? When I right click on it there is no move to, or save to option for me to use. Not sure how to move the tune to my documents.

just left click on the file and you should get a popup window asking you to save it, and where to save it...

Thanks so much for the very helpful info and the quick response. Now I can go load up the new tune and have some fun. One last question that I just thought of. Do you have to have the predator hooked to the car and a laptop to do datalogging or will the predator store the info to download into the computer later? Thanks again

you can log with just the predator and download it later...
