Has anyone heard about this yet? I noticed an add in Mopar Muscle's may issue about a new tuner that looks like an Iphone. Looks like it will be replacing the Trinity. They haven't even finished tweaking all the issues with the Trinity yet and here comes another new tuner? Man am I irritated. I just forked over 600 for the trinity. I do admit, this thing looks sweet and Diablo claims it will be out this year! This reminds me of the way Macintosh released there Iphone. Everyone forks over 300 for the Iphone and then less than a year they release the 3G version for 99 bucks! Diablo better offer a upgrade deal for Trinity owners. I have a feeling that my trinity will be for sale soon! I have to have the latest and greatest so I will be suckered into this one. Looks like it is releasing this year 2010!

no, it's NOT replacing the Trinity... the trinity is a step above the inTune...

I hope your right. Sure looks nice though. Way sleeker design. Will it have all the same features as the predator and live data feature like the Trinity? If that's the case then it is a replacement in sorts. If it doesn't have the drag racing feature, who cares. It is sure small which is a good thing.

Testing hasn't even started on this yet. Its gonna be a while. I don't think you leave this attached like the Trinity. Its more like the Predator, tune and remove. Only leave it plugged in when datalogging.

Anybody who has an iPhone or iTouch knows that you never leave them in the car, because the display doesn't take well to temperature changes or extremes. Since this uses the same type of touch screen, the same thing will apply.

You will not want to trade your Trinity in on this, since as Lew stated, it is a Predator replacement, which means it will retail for under $400....!

well that’s good to know Sure like to looks of this tuner compared to the Trinity though. Way sleeker and low profile. Sounds like it's not really intended permanent installation in a car like the Trinity is.

The Trinity looks a million times better...personally, I dont want an Ipod attached to my ride as a tuner, I want something that looks like a tuner...Good job DiabloSport with keeping the Trinity at the top of the pack!

Since no one from Diablo answered my question I will as it straight out.

What function will the intune provide that the trinity wont? Straight up, your not going to put crazy R&D money on the trinity and the intune within this any quareters unless you think preddator owners (who are going to hold on to their outdated preds just so they can keep the egr delete feature) and trinity owners to purchase this new prodect.

inTune is a whole new ballgame.

inTune brings full factory reflash capabilities to the table, a feature never before seen in any handheld tuning device.

inTune is not limited to supporting Ford/GM/Chrysler. inTune will take us into BMW, Mini Cooper, Mercedes, and many more.

inTune will be desired by not only end users, but high end shops that work on cars and require reflash capabilities, as inTune can ideally replace a Star Scan, a Tech 2, a Cardaq, or whatever you are using for flashing PCM.

It also has full factory scan tool capabilities, so it will be able to perform factory diagnostic functions like crank relearns.

My favorite part so far will be the lack of any required interface software. Plug the inTune into your PC (or Mac!!), and open the external hard drive (inTune).
Want your backup file? drag it out of the folder and drop it on your PC. Done.
Got a custom tune you want to load to the inTune, drag it from your PC to the intune. Done.
Want to update the inTune, drag it to the inTune...you get the point.

We'll have to develop a type of driver for live streaming to the Dataviewer program, but oh yeah, that driver will be in the intunes drive already, so you just drag it from there, install it on your PC, and done. Dont even have to visit the web site.
The inTune manual will also be on the tools' drive, as well as any documentation you may need, along with a link to the inTunes downloads page on our website.
