Trinity logging question with external wideband..

Hey guys,
So I've been able to use my Trinity log my Innovate LC-1 wide band with the analog input very nicely. But, now I decided to log straight onto the laptop to pull some more PIDS up. The problem is that my wide band gauge won't show up in the dataviewer. If I log on the trinity then download the filw to my laptop there is no issue. I can see the external PID there and select it. I was using the 3.2.0.7 revision i just downloaded the newer beta version to see if that resolves this issue...
LMK if i'm doing some thing wrong... TIA

If your still having issues, postup the runtime.txt file from: "My Documents\DataViewer". (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\jimb\My Documents\DataViewer) in the DataViewer Forum.

3.3.0.3 didnt show External sources for me either.
On BOTH laptops, i went back to 3.2.0.7 and voila....showed up.

I don't see how that's possible since there is NO code in 3.2.0.7 to query Trinity for external/analog live streaming. The EXTERNAL label on the PID tree might appear; But it won't contain the individual analog channels and you won't get any live data. (or, if you do it's incorrect) See attached picture of what 3.3.0.3 should show.
You might want to use Help->About from the pull down menu to verify which version is running.

I think were discussing 2 different issues.
Yes, downloading a Log from Trinity and playing it back works with earlier 3.2.0.7. But live streaming/recording with that version of DataViewer from Trinity does not. That's what the original poster of this thread was discussing.

My bad Jim. I can't get afr as a viewable pid on the beta but can on the previous version. Sorry for the confusion

What version crom and tool are you using in Trinity?
You should be able to see the EXTERNAL Analog Inputs tree (as in my attachment) when connected to Trinity and your ECU and view it live on Dataviewer 3.3.0.3 (provided an OBDII PID is selected). The 3.2.0.7 version won't do Analog livestreaming; Only playback of logs containing a single analog channel (e.g. AFR).
Note: It's possible you recorded your WOT log with an earlier crom version and they probably don't playback properly with the 3.3.0.3 beta. Please attach it so I can confirm it.
