I have seen other people writing in about the dead battery problem.ME TOO I dont use this car every day. What is the best way to avoid this? Can i just unplug the tool? If so can i drive it without the tool pluged in and keep the tune in it?

yeah just unplug it. the tune is in once the program is installed.

I'm using a Bracketron Mobile Grip-iT Windshield Mount Kit with my Trinity. It's a adjustable foam padded mount with a suction cup. Basically like the mount that comes with it only a mount on the end. Have them in all my vehicles for my iPhone. Turn it sideways and the Trinity fits in there securely. Discount/Advance Auto near me carries them.
When I get out of the car, I pull the Trinity out of the mount and unplug the cable. Been there with the dead battery and posted about it here. Just hoping I don't ruin the socket.
