Question For Don Capak

Post by Jpritchard »

I keep reading about this upgrade. Is there any way that you can enlighten me on what's going on and how long you think it might take to get the bugs worked out. Thanks. Also I would love to se a tune like some others put out that is just absolutely ridiculous horsepower that way I can have an advantage at the truck pull this spring. Thanks Again

once i get my hands on a truck is just a matter of logging and flashing. If i determine its the ficm causing the issue then I will need to look into it a bit deeper so it will take me some time.

The unfortunate thing about this is that we seem to go through this same shit every time we get an update. One would think that the updates would be tested before being release , and yes I am aware that problems do arise but I have owned my predator for 4 years and it has not worked right for probably 2 of those years. There is no 6l fords in Florida anywhere to use to fix this?

we often use my roommates truck, but it has a nasty fuel leak right now, and is down like 100 hp as a result.
Waiting to get it in the shop still....

Problem is it was tested and tested fine, until that ficm flash came about and shafted everyone. When i tested the vxcf9, there was no updated ficm flash, just a pcm.
