2000 Mustang

I have a 2000 Mustang with a V6, she has so far...70mm TB w/spacer, BBK shortie headers, underdrive Pully's, MAC CAI, 2.5" O/R X pipe with 2.5" Flowmasters. I feel as if the car is not producing as much HP as it should and she did not make but maybe 1 MPG increase over stock as I added all the induction and exhaust parts. She defiently pulls harder than stock, but she seems like she could do more with the parts I have on her. I have never used a tuner or had a custom tune done but I think I need something to add some more HP and a few MPG. I'm also a little leary of a tuner, I guess because I have never used one before, My biggest concern is my air fuel ratio, are the basic tunes 87, 91, etc going to harm my air fuel ratio? Also I mainly use 89 octance, and in Kansas where I live there is no such thing as 93 octane fuel so can I use a different octane fuel with the 93 octane tune? I would appreciate any other information that you guys deem important. Thanks for the help with my ignorance on the subject.

PS I dont know if this makes a difference or not but the tranny is manual 5 speed and I am probably going to be putting in 3.73 gears and a Traction Lock. Will the tuner be able to readjust my Odometer? Thanks again

The Predator will do everything you are looking for, including adjusting the speedo. The A/F is designed to be safe no matter what octane fuel you are running, but the U7146 only contains 91/93 octane tunes. If you want to run 89, let me know when you get the tool and we'll see what we can do.
