Emissions... will it pass?

Hi Guys,
I'm running the above, and the car rocks! Ever since I loaded the latest 'Racer Kit' tune from the 9r03 update... the car has been an utter flying machine.

But I have a question. I have to get my car emissions tested in 4 months time. I've heard that some C&L tunes have the rear o2 sensors disabled and could possibly make the car fail the emissions test.

Can you tell me whether the 'rear o2' sensors are disabled in the 'Racer Kit' tune that comes with the 9r03 release?

If they are switched off, and it does fail the emissions test. What's the easiest way to get them re-enabled?

I trust that re-enabling the sensors will not affect the performance of the car. For information, my car is running the stock cat's.

Keep up the good work guys. You are doing a fantastic job helping us muppets out!

Cheers

Hi Mike,
I did some data logging of my car. The logging reports the following...

Bank1 Downstream O2 Sensor Heater Current Monitor - 0.0
Bank2 Downstream O2 Sensor Heater Current Monitor - 0.0

Both 'Upstream' O2 Sensors show a value of 0.0039

I don't know for sure, but could this be suggesting that the 'Rear O2 Sensors' are disabled?

If so, I definitely need something to rectify this.

Thanks
Darren

Yup, they are turned off.

Export a copy of the last tune written from your car, and email it to me or post it here, and I will make you a file that will work.

Hi Mike,
That would be great if you could.

Please find attached file. I have renamed it for identification purposes.

Thanks

Tune with rear o2's enabled along with the cat/flange/ego temps enabled. Should be good to go.

Superb. Thanks 'tuningss'.

I never knew so much other stuff was switched off as well!

Can you tell me... will enabling these sensors have any effect on the cars performance?

Thanks

WOT performance may be rich with all the switches on, but if you have cats it is typically needed to keep them cool

Ok, I'm confused. Previously, my logging showed this...

Bank1 Downstream O2 Sensor Heater Current Monitor - 0.0
Bank2 Downstream O2 Sensor Heater Current Monitor - 0.0

Both 'Upstream' O2 Sensors show a value of 0.0039

...now all four of my O2 sensors show a value of 0.0

I thought that the upstream sensors 0.0039 value suggested that they were switched on, and the 0.0 values on the downstream sensors suggested that they were switched off?

So, if all my sensors show a value of 0.0 - does that mean they are all switched off?

I know you've told me that they are all switched on... so I am sure you have done this... I'm just confused by my logs.

Can you put my mind at rest?

Thanks
