Hello,

I´m Axel from Germany - sorry for my english it is not perfect.

Today I´ve got my new Predator U7145 v.9r03

My ride is a 2007 Mustang GT - VIN 1ZVFT82H875222069 - I bought it 4 weeks ago in germany.

And now my problem:

Even 2007 or 2008 in USA my Mustang got a new Axle "4.1" - the first owner in germany imported the Mustang in 04/2009 and drove only about 3.000 miles till 11/2009.

I bought the Mustang 4 weeks ago and I recognized that the tacho runs much forward.

Tacho shows "100 mph" but my GPS-Navi shows me only "really 78 mph" and I think that the Axle Ratio was not send to the ECU after the installation!

Now I bought me the Predator to correct the Axle Ratio but today

I tried to install the Predator and it shows me this:

"Vehicle not in database"

and

Calid "; G" - for technical support

Hi,

I sold the predator to Axel. Now he sent it back to me, because it is just not working. I´ve installed the actual revison 9r03 again, but the predator still shows "CALID "; G" when I let the predator show the CalibrationId. Does anyone know what this could mean?
It ist possible to read troubles codes and so on, but it´s just not possible to install a tune...
Can anybody help me??

PS: Axel was at a Ford-dealer and they reseted the original software on his Mustang, which did not solve the problem with the predator. Even on another 2007 Mustang the problem appeared.

There is something wrong with this Predator, please rma it for warranty.

I got another Predator U 7145 back, which has nearly the same problems. It shows the CalID "4 L" and it ist not possible to install a tune. It was tested on two Mustang 07/08 and even on my Mustang(06) it shows CalID "4 L".
You can read the VIN, show trouble codes and real-time-data, but even with reinstalling the software 9r03 it´s not possible to install a tune.

What can I do??

Can you try updating this tool to 9r04?

You are aware that a U7145 will not work on a 06 GT, right?

Also, are these stock Mustang GT's? They aren't Saleen, Roush or something like that?

Of course the u 7145 is for 07-09, the predator was tested on one stock 07 and one stock 08 Mustang GT. On both it just showed CalID "4 L" and it was not possible to install a tune. I just tried on my 06 Mustang if it can read trouble codes and life-data, which was possible. The update to 9r04 did not solve the problem...

Does the CalID "4 L" have any specific meaning?

I got an RMA number for the Predator with the CalID "G".

What should I do with the other predator with the CalID "4 L", should I also rma it?

I bought ten predators for german Mustang drivers at once to safe shipping, so please don´t wonder that I have two predators with problems.
