i have a u7170 with ford_7_3v5r2 for a 2000 f350 7.3
I am looking for the most current file i can use in this tuner, as I would like to be able to use the ds downloader,but i don't think i can unless i send it in for a hardware upgrade.
I would need help with loading the file into the tuner. I can connect with hyperterminal, if that is the only way to load the .crom file into the tuner.

Guessing from your info above, you have the old model Predator with the 128K memory chip instead of the 512K. (I think I'm right with the size of memory, but it doesn't really matter). You've been left high and dry for a few days now. PM me, and I'll send you the 7R19DZ crom. That was the last update for the older tools. It will be this afternoon when I get home before I can send it. I know somewhere in this forum DS has a link to it.......

There are 2 7R19DZ crom; one if your tool says booting ford_7_3, another if it boots pstroke73.
