need to re-register my trinity

I bought it used and when I hooked it up to my computer it said that it was allready registered and it wouldn't let me download any updates. Can the registration be reset?

1r08 is the latest. IF your Trinity is already registered AND does NOT contain an ECU backup; Then DSDL will download 1r08 and intstall it. Plug Trinity into PC/Laptop 1st, then launch DS Downloader.

IF you want to change the registration, once DSDL connects select Help->Force Registration.
