u7165 should it do more?

I just bought a u7165 for my 04 excursion and it has tow, 65, and 100. In all three the only modification you can do is speed limit on or off. Should you be able to set more parameters? should it have a stock tune? Thank you for any info.

The stock tune will be there when you install another tune, and it will say original backup that will be the stock tune. As for the parameters it doesn't have any more than the speed limiter, I wish it had more.

The reason we don't run many adjustable params with the diesel is there is a high chance of grenading it if someone doesn't know what they are doing. That isn't to say we haven't thought about it though. I wouldn't mind giving you guys the ability to mess with the vgt duty cycle to make the turbo act the way you want it to. Timing and fuel are where the power is at however if we did give you the ability to play with it, it would be very limited as I have found throughout the year of playing with these trucks the real sweet spots in regards to that. Plus you have the whole head gasket issues etc.
