EGT Display

Post by Overdrive »

Can the Trinity display the current EGT for an 07 LBZ? I'm new to the Trinity but figuring that the PID list shows what can be displayed. I see EGT PID's for Ford but not GM.

Does it require the T1010 to do this?

The LBZ does not have an EGT sensor like the LMMor new 6.4 Ford, so it is not monitored by the PCM.
You could use an EGT sensor like the one we sell and add it as an analog input, then you could monitor it on the Trinity.

Just dealing with this situation myself. Have a 2009 duramax, do in need the pyro kit to display egt's on the trinity, or will it read egt's without the pyro kit???

The 09 has a stock EGT probe so you dont need to add one.
