Hey gang,
New to the forum. I am thinking of purchasing a 7194 for my 09 Tahoe Z71 5.3L. I have a Flowmaster Series 50 SUV muffler and Volant CAI. The motor seems to be running rich now due to the CAI. Wondering if one of the tunes on the 7194 or a Diablew tune can help fix this. Thanks for your input.

yes, it can be fixed by getting your fueling adjusted correctly...
and can also be fixed and more power gotten via a custom tune...

check the stickies and do some data logging, adjust your slope to get your fueling adjusted correctly so that your average ltft's are in the 0 to -2 range...

Hi Monte,
In another Q&A thread the member posted:
-- Can I make my own custom tunes (not just a modified tune)?
You said this is possible only if you are a dealer or authorized tuner with the software. I take it the exception is being able to adjust your injector slope so that you can bring the ltft's in range as you specify?
Thanks

yes... that's considered a "modified tune"... you can modify the tune via the predator/trinity yourself...
a "custom tune" is done via the tuning software...
With the 7194 predator for your vehicle, you can do/adjust all of these things yourself, via the predator unit itself:
#
COT time delay
#
DoD disable
#
Idle RPM Drive/Neutral
#
Injector Slope adjustment
#
WOT Fuel 2k-3.8k / 4k-4.9k / 5k-7k
#
Rev Limit
#
WOT Spark (in degrees) 1k-3.8k / 4k-5k / 5.2k-7k
#
Fan adjustment, individual adjustment per temp dependent cell
#
Tire Size
#
Speed limit(truck/SUV only)
#
Clear codes supported
#
Live data and log supported

Yes. I found that list on the product page. In addition to that, what is the custom tune able to provide?

a custom tune, done by a diablosport CMR tuner such as myself, adjusts a lot more parameters that the end-user doesn't have available via the predator/trinity handheld unit...
the CMR tuning software is like hp tuners, efi live, etc etc and allows access to EVERYTHING in a tune file...
the fueling and timing adjustments can be done more precisely, instead of just a general range like the handheld has you do...
torque management settings, knock retard settings, throttle settings, WOT/PE settings, AFR settings, fueling, timing, and a whole slew of other things...
