Changing scale or upper and lower bounds on analog a/f gauge

Searched around for while and saw someone one that had used 7.xx to 23.xx as upper and lower bounds for their displayed 0-5v analog signal. This was with an innovate, which I know probably has a wider scope of signal than my sensor.
I have an AEM 30-4100 w/b a/f. The calibration data table for using the analog signal with the EMS is a 10-19.98 stoich scale that moves in increments of .30 along the 10.00 to 19.98. So if I was using their EMS thingy (I am not) I'd have to input this table of calibration data. As an example, 2.34v is 14.68 stoich .78 v is 11.56 stoich and 1.25v is 12.50 stoich, and so on in .16 increments along v and .30 increments along stoich. Using 10 and 19.98 my gauge looks pretty accurate and close to tracking what the gauge is putting out, but didn't know if I should be using something slightly different as parameters with this particular unit to as accurate as possible. 9 to 20, 7 to 23? This is close, so if there is a better/perfect number, it can't be far off, but figured someone might have already done this.
Nice thing it is in the logged data now and in my eyeball range. Very nice.
I had the blue/serial wire from my w/b instead of the white analog - FAIL. Now correct wire and good ground are looped. Snapped about 6 shots, these were the most accurate, the others within a few tenths.

Glad you asked.
Yes.
We have been working on this, and the scaling part is done, just working up some new graphics for the gauges and adding some hash marks.
It is very slick, and I think its exactly what you are looking for.
It will be part of the 1r08 release.

You need to stick with 0v=10.00 and 5v=19.98
Your upper and lower bound needs to match the AEM scale exactly. Any deviation will skew the Trinity data.

That's where I've left them and it seems to track consistently. Now for the log data, drop down menu for the parameter won't let me set the min and mix, so I've got .00001 to .00010 flickering in the log, which defauls to a label of 0x40FFFFFD with a min max of 0.0 to .0010 and with stoich registering .0004 to .0007 and for WOT registering .0010 to .0011. I can see the rough correlation where they are in relation to what I know the a/f is, but how can I get the parameter to read in the same scale I am displaying in to make some sense of the log? Parameter min and max in dropdown window won't liven up and let me set the parameter. Do I need an updated version or something or is that just not possible on this unit?

When is this 1r08 going to released?

muellge, please capture a log on Trinity showing your issues and export out with DV. Post up here.

Ok. Here's one. as saved. Gave it a WOT and then was going to give it another WOT but I got some belt slip from a roll and it didn't like it so I let off. If you look at the logged external analog, you can see how its coming through. I have it scaled 10.00-19.98 on the display and it reads just fine, just would like to be able to make similar sense of the information in the log on the dash/graph so the info is useable. I suppose a 0-5v scale would be convertible from the table provided with the AEM calibration instructions, but the actual number would be the easiest/desired.

muellge, I looked at your log and confirmed You have similar issue that others have downloading logs from Trinity for playback with DataViewer and logging External Inputs with DV.
This all you need to-do to fix it:
1) Use DataViewer 3.3.0.3 from our website.
2) On Trinity select Options->Analog Input Config->Reset All Defaults.
3) Select Analog Input Config->Edit Existing Params
4) Modify existing Analog Input 1 (or 2) selecting Edit Existing Params. Changing only Selecting Analog 1 or 2 as source, Name, Units, Lower and Upper Bound. (e.g. 10.0 and 19.98 )
5) DONT Delete any of the Trinity default Analog Params.
6) You might need DV to re-query vehicle info (File->Re Query Vehicle).
Your AIR_FUEL tag should now show up on DV with range 10.0 to 19.98. (maps 0-5v). And you should be able to record logs with DV and playback without Trinity attached to your PC/Laptop.

the updated dataview solved it. That and I had to change the equivalence ratio to get the data to plot properly. Reading. Thanks guys.
