I'm telling everyone and their mother to order one of these trinity's, because my egr block of kit had not arrived yet. I have like 7 of these scheduled, trinities direct drom DS and EGR block off kits from BT. Now I know I can old versioned Pred and have that option, but then am I stuck. Can I take that tune I made with the egr delete and the use it with my trinity.

Cause if not I'm in big trouble, guess I should have read the entire forum insted of just a few entries nefore dropping 800 on their trinity, it's pod mount (and a pod to go with it) and a catch can,

If you have a tune with EGR turned off, save it to your PC, then load it to the Trinity as a custom tune.

EGR delete option has been gone for about a year now....

Custom tunes to disable EGR are easy as well.

OK, so just let me get %100 clear before I spend more money.

I can buy a Pred from you guys and back rev teh software till erg delete appears.

Then upload that custom tune to my pc, the from the pc to the trinity.

I will have the egr deleted adn all the functionality of the trinity?

Is that right? Is there anyway to buy a pred from you guys with a specific spftware version?

no....

you can not go back to those older revisions on the new predators... it won't let you...

what mike was saying is... if you already have an older predator and you have a tune with the "egr delete" already, you can export that tune from the predator to your pc... then import it as a custom tune to the trinity...

but, if you don't already have a old model predator on that older revision that allows you to disable the egr, then you're outta luck doing it that way.... and you'll just have to get a custom tune created for ya that has the egr disabled in it.

Why are you so bent on removing the EGR? What would be your advantage for you?

besides increasing emissions and losing gas mileage?

I'm Thinking the 09 (Eagle) Intake manifold I am upgrading my 300C to is way more efficent and does not require, nor does it have, an EGR Valve.

"besides increasing emissions and losing gas mileage?"

I honestly don't have numbers for you to answer those questions, I would assume the first to be 0 and the second to be a number some where on the negitive side of the number line, but hey maybe you know something I don't, happens all the time. Nevermind the fact that bought the product without the intention of decreassing my carbon foot print (I do other things to offset my fun) nor get better gas mileage, I bought it to help blow the doors off of people who thnk you can't drive a classy luxry car, with four doors and still do a decent 1/4 mile.

I got this problem taken care of, but not by Diablo. I would Like to have access to that CMR software, my wallet will not permit that today, but you never know, bittorrent is a bitch.

Yeah, except for the fact that the CMR software needs to login DS servers and is locked to I believe a MAC address. Nice try though mister HaX0R.

So, how did you get it taken care of? I'm dying to know, as there are so many tuning options out there for the NGC PCM besides CMR....

Networks can be sniffed, MAC addresses can be spoffed, so if you are so confident why don't you go on a head and make the most recent binaries available to me. Maybe I won't get anywhere, maybe everybody acros the world that is on the mailing lists I am on or the couple thousand that read 2600, I am sure they would love an article about this.

As far as how I took care of it, I left the details out of the post for a reason.

LOL, have fun.

Sure, got an email addy for me to send you some binaries? Want hex addresses too? Heck, I'll just send you the templates...lol.

As far as that goes I have been an active member of the community for 14+ years and the patcheck saysa Sr. Security/Virtualization Engineer, and I like that better.

So, you do realize, even IF you could hack CMR, you'd have no clue how to tune with it, and, you'd still have to buy hardware from us to flash the files to a PCM...LOL.

 Whoopie. So you're going to clone a MAC address that you don't even know? There are only 281,474,976,710,656 MAC addresses, a very small percentage of which have been registered on the CMR server. Somehow, you're magically going to accomplish this huh? I've found the people that talk the loudest about their abilities are the ones that know the least.

On that, Mike send me the software! :)
