U7130 programmer reset

I just totaled my truck and am about to buy another.. I have a U7130 and want to reset it because I would like to use it on another truck. Is there a way to reset the programmer so that I can use it on another truck.

Fax us proof of loss to 561-908-0048 then call within an hour with the tool powered up so we can unlock it for you.

I just tried updating my u7130 now I'm left with a paper weight it keeps saying data missing or curruot. Am I able to have it reset
