Thermostat Change To 160

Post by Goatluver »

I installed a 160 degree thermostat in my 05 GTO. Further research requires the fans to turn on different. I checked the Predator but do not have the ability. The settings need to be changed to FAN 1 ON 184F - OFF 175F and FAN 2 ON 194F - OFF 185F. I contacted my CMR tuner and he located the following tables:

My tuner was unsure if the fans can be set per temp settings. If Johan wouldnt mind modifying the attached tune to compensate for the lower 160 thermostat it would be appreciated yet again.

I dont know that he willl have a chance to look at this today, as he is out of the office, but you can accomplish this in the Predator by setting the fan temp cells to a higher % than they are currently.
This applies a percentage of fan power based on ECT.

Thanks

I noticed on the Predator that the lowest fan setting is 192F but didnt notice if there were options for FAN 1 and FAN2. It appeared the settings are just for FANS and didnt differentiate between FAN1 or FAN2. I better let Johan take care of it.
