I have a 2001 Ford F250 - 7.3L and looking for an Economy Tune. I am getting poor fuel mileage on the 85 HP tune.

Predator U7170

Do you guys have anything that will work?

Thanks,

Chris

Have you tried the 100 tune?

Check it out, just keep your foot out of it...

So your saying that the 100 tune will be better with fuel then the 85 tune? I would think the opposite, but I'll give it a try.

I will be towing this weekend my 35' 5th wheel and will use the tow tune for the first time. Will the fuel be better then using the stock tune? Will I feel a difference in power while towing on the tow tune?

Thanks,

Chris

Yes, the tow tune should help you get 1-3 MPG better than stock when towing, and makes a solid 40 rwhp and 100 f/lbs at the wheels.

Ok..I towed with the Tow Tune this weekend and was only getting 6 MPG! Do you have any idea why that would be? I should be getting 12 or better, I think.

What is the fuel economy that you guys have seen in the past while towing a 10K lb 5th wheel at 65 - 70 MPH?

Clogged fuel filter?
Bad injectors?

Something is not right....

Will the tuner tell me this from the data logging?

if it shows desired and actual rail pressure you'll be able to see it.
