Exhaust and guages for Predator on ford06 diesel 350?

I just bought a ford 06 f350 4x4 wtih 34k miles. The seller included a predator flash tuner he bought for the truck. He didn't have the manual but walked me through a 65 horspower economy tune install and referred me to this web site. The first thing I have found is a BIG Cautiion advising the use of an aftermarket exhaust and a guage that I don't even recognize. The truck has a stock Ford 3.5iin exhaust (I measured it at the tip) and no "special" guages that I can see. I now have two immediate questions:
1. What do I need to buy and how soon if I want to keep using the Predator Tunes?
2. Should I go looking for damage because the previous owner used this "Predator" with a stock exhaust and no "special" guage?

The use of the exhaust system and EGT guages is for those who wish to use the higher power tunes in the Predator.
The 40 and 65 hp tunes are fine on an otherwise stock truck.
