2006 charger need alot of help

i just got it unlocked because it locked up on my tuck it was good to use again im driving down the road it worked for about two hours perfect on my charger then once again said it lost the cable signal i tried to restart it now it keeps saying make sure car is on for everything yet the car is on it would read all the info for one look but i went to look again so i could write it down and it wouldnt even go to that i have all the latest upgrades and now im just confused as what to do ive had this 9 days and i want it fixed then mabey gone for a predator any suggestions on how to make this thing actually work???
