Of course. Royal Purple 5W-20 Synthetic. But that's not going to affect whether or not the Predator will turn the MDS back on...will it?

How do you know that the MDS is not on.

No error...Nothing happens. The predator shows the little asterisk by the parameter showing that it has been modified but it doesn't change when I load the tune...I can adjust all of the other parameters I want and it will load them but when I set MDS on, nothing happens...

Yeah, I know it says it's on, but it's not. As you know, when the MDS is on you hear it bumpin' like crazy when it switches on and off. I know exactly what it sounds and feels like and it isn't on...

I called in to you guys about 2 months ago and reported that my dealership had flashed my PCM when the tune was still in the vehicle. I had the MDS turned off in that tune and when I got the truck back from the dealer, they told me they had flashed the PCM. Well, when I fired it up and drove it out of the parking lot, the first thing I noticed was the MDS bumping like it was turned on. I thought it was because they had flashed it and it had returned itself back to stock.

Then I found that I couldn't tune my truck with the predator because of the flash update so when I called in 2 months ago, you guys told me I had to call back with my predator turned on in order to do that manual reset. I didn't call until about 2 weeks ago to reset my predator and for about a month and a half I just drove the truck the way it came from the dealership. During the first week of driving it, the MDS bump "faded" away and it felt exactly like before I had taken it into the dealer (meaning no MDS in the tune). Well then 2 weeks ago I finally found time to call in with my predator powered up and someone helped me reset my predator. I was then able to make an original backup on the predator and tune my vehicle with any parameters I wanted. I set it up for the 87oct tune with some adjustment to partial throttle upshift, rev limit, idle, and also MDS on. I loaded the tune and all the parameters worked excpet the MDS. And like I said before, the MDS on my truck is very noticeable especially on the highway and I swear it's not switching on at all.

So, you're saying it stopeed working withthe stock tune before you ever put the Predator back in?

In that case, there is a mechanical problem...

Before they flashed my truck, I had the MDS turned off. When I got it back, it was on and then it "faded" away during the first week of driving it back from the dealer. This was about 2 months ago. Then about 2 weeks ago I reset my tool with you guys but I couldn't turn my MDS on...So that to you says mechanical...?

OK, faded away means it is broken..

It cant turn itself off in the stock tune without flashing it, period.
