no idel up

Since updating to the newest version for the 7131 i cant get my idel up feature to work. It worked before the update. Tried twice tonight to reload it and at ten minutes at a time it sucks. Any ideas why the feature wont reload???

Here's what Johan had me do -

Try this, after you installed the tune, go back and modify the idle up and once it says updated, escaped to main menu and then cycle the key and see if it works.

Yeah, i tried that and still nothing. I'm going to try it again today but it sure sucks having to wait 10 minutes everytime you do something. Would be nice to get the shift on the fly back. But i will try to reload the tune then the idel up feature again. thanks Kasey

tried 3 times with 3 different power levels to get the idel up feature to work, tried it with the power levels then went back and tried it after installing the power levels and still nothing, after 5 differnt tries at almost an hour im getting frastruted....this 10 minutes a tune really bites after having the shift on the fly tunes...so why wont my high idel install???

Hang on...when you go in there and modify the idle up...escape out of everything...don't tell it to install the tune. In other words...if you've already put a tune on it and waited the 10 minutes...go back in and modify the idle up. When it says it's been updated, escape out of everything without telling it to install the tune again. Once you've escaped back to the main menu...cycle the key and see if that works. Sorry if this is exactly what you did but from reading your post it sounded like you told it to install the tune again. Mine did the exact same thing as yours...

yep, done it that way, 3 times still nothing. Worked before the new update now it wont....takes to long to just keep trying to figure it out. Who knows what is wrong just one of those things i guess

Thanks for your info, just wish the guys from diablo would start responding to some of the issues that are being posted. I just think there is a problem all the way around because i can't tell a difference in any of my tunes. There is something wrong some where. I read about all the power that the guys are getting and im not getting squat. My performance tune feels stronger than extreme or higher and thats running the puck also. Just not happy with what i have right now. As bad as i hate to say it i have been reading up on the smarty, don't know might make a change..

If i where you i would contact tech support and send your unit in as your issue is an isolated one. Get the smarty if you wanna get spanked by a guy with a pred.
Seriously, there is obviously something wrong with your unit or you are doing something wrong, i think there is something up with your unit however.
Call tech support and they will help you out.
