05 6.0 help.

[reede4408]

Whats up, first time posting here. I just bought a predator (used) from a guy that has the same truck as I do. Its a 2004 f350 6.0l, soIplug it in and it trys to take me through the steps and keeps reading FEATURE NOT SUPPORTED ON THIS VEHICLE. I dont know how i can get the version #, on the unit it says ford 6.0l. Could it be vin locked orsomething else. Thanks Jason

Go to Options/Troubleshooting/Last Tune Written. If it says anything other than original backup, its locked.
