03 Mustang RPM's Hang Between Shifts (Manual)

I have a 2003 Mustang V6 3.8L 5-speed with a Pypes Performance Complete Converter-Back Dual Exhaust, a K & N cold air intake and Hardcore 8mm 0-ohm wires set. After I installed the predator performance tune the engine’s RPM’s seem to hang around 3000 RPM’s between shifting. Also when I stop it takes a few seconds for it to come down to the Idle RPM setting. They stay around 3000 for a few seconds, then come down to 1500 for a few seconds and then drop to Idle RPM. I have Predator model U7146.

Any Reason Why?

Not sure about this one.
It sounds like timing during decel.
It should not affect anything, and if you would like to try to have it removed, I would suggest a custom tune.

Find a performance shop in your area or talk to brenspeed. i think they have diablo
