2005 just installed A&A supercharger vette

code : pcm error/key(-1) appears on trinity when trying to tune in vehicle. This is probably from a other tune right? If so, reflash of pcm required? thx

sounds like the current tune is locked.

Is it an SD tune?

Hi Mike, not sure , purchased car in 2005 from dealer and went straight to davenport racing in Calgary, Alberta and had kooks headers , x-pipe ,route 66 exhaust and vortex induction install on car. Pretty sure the have lock the tune. Can a dealer unlock it ,or would I be better off getting a new ecm and go from there? Thx for your help

If it is locked, it will need to be unlocked with some other software, but if it is a SD tune, or based on a custom operating system, it can not be unlocked...
