Will airaid CAI work with steeda 90mm delete tune?

I have a 07 stang gt

I installed the airaid CAI with supporting airaid tune.

I want to install motion plate deletes, can I just use the steeda 90mm cai delete plate tune supplied with the new updated tunes or do I require custom tunes. I want to keep using the airaid cai

No...Id get a custom tune. Actually, Id leave the CMCVs in place, but I'm a weirdo and I like torque...lol.

Is the steeda / airaid cai pretty much the same design? If you look at the two side by side they look almost identical. Which makes me think the "steeda cai with motion deletes" tune should work fine with an airaid cai. All the dyno research I've done more then proveS motion plate deletes improve torque and hp at all rpm up to 10 at the wheels.

Am I right out to lunch on this mind set?
Any help would be nice

The CMCV delete will also cause a loss of 10-15 ft/lbs at lower rpms, which is why they are there in the first place.

picking up 10 hp up top inexchange for giving up 15 ft/lbs down low will make the car feel like it slowed down...

As for the CAIs, if they were the same, we would not have developed different tunes for the 2, they have entirely different flow characteristics.

The airaid CAI is 101mm when the insert tube is removed. I would stick the CMCV plates back in and just use the airaid tune with the airaid intake.
