MY U7135 PREDATOR ISNT GIVING MY CHARGER ANY SNAP

MY U7135 PREDATOR really is not giving my 2007 dodge charger rt 5.7 any snap at all. I have cold air intake, shorty header, performance exhaust, catch can, throttle body spacer and this predator. It is set at CAI 91 and I have put some different settings in it and they don't seem to make any difference. Plus I am new to this Any suggestions................

Got a log for us? Your motor is probably knocking, especially if you don't have a Catch Can on it.

I have the U7137 on my 09 Dodge Ram HEMI, I get the knock when in MDS mode so I removed it and set back to factory settings with the MDS off, still seems as though its on sometimes. I would also like to know about the catch can.. I hate the MDS but would like the performance.

I thought I answered that like last week, but it must have been on a different board. A Catch Can collects and condenses oil droplets that otherwise end up in the intake manifold. Once that get in there the oil puddles, gets sludgey, and you end up with alot of knock retard. Oil doesn't combust, so it greatly reduces the octane of the fuel.

The attached pic is the inside of my intake mani at 4k miles without a can. Imagine what yours looks like if you have higher mileage.

I have 8,000 miles on mine and if I can prevent build up I will. I sent Mike M an Email regarding the MDS situation I'm going through, I am new to these predator upgrades - still learning by reading posts. Thanks for the info

thanks for the info! intake gets dirty pretty fast. Catch Can looks like a good mod.

Catch can for the Win!!!! I have about 2500 miles on the current oil...I've all ready picked up about 0.75 ounces so far! By the time the oil change is due...it'll be up near or over 2 ounces of oil in the catch can!

Otherwise all that oil would pretty much be sitting in the intake plenium! I'm sold on it!
