guys with updated tunes/recent cal-id update

This is a question from anyone that has a recent cal-id dodge then updated from diablo. I spoke to mike after i noticed how bad by gas mileage is now compared to before. Nothing has changed with my truck but i can even touch 460miles to a tank while i use to go about 520-560 on the economy tune. Its a 06 QC with 20's and 35 inch tires so i don't expect insane mileage but i do see a drop off and nothing has changed other than the tune from dodge/diablo. Before i start looking into my truck i want to see if anyone has noticed anything?

the calid update didnt change anything in the tunes all it did was alow the tuner to work with the ecm.the tunes them selves are all the same as they were before.now i have heard some guys complaining about milage changes when gettng a flash from dodge that changes your calid.that could have hapend,when dodge flashes your truck they change the ecm parameters

i have noticed a drop of up to 2mpg (hand calc) since january when dodge flashed my ecm with all the latest software. They also said my truck had dodge software on it. I have yet to try anything with the diablo because since i bought it in January i have not been able to load it. My truck is an 06 quad cab 4x4.

Well Mike can correct me if i am wrong but yes the cal id changed but so did the dodge tune so in theory the diablo had to look over the new tune and make adjustments based on that? I recall mike telling me they have to do r&d on the new tune and not just throw out a new tune untested. from what i do see so far the gas mileage i was getting in stock tune and about the same as the economy tune. Just curious to see if anyone else is having this issue, not the end of the world truck runs like a champ so no complaints other than the mpg.

Yeah, there were changes in the new claibrations, but nothing that looked like it should affect mileage....I'll ask Johan to take another peek and see if anything else stands out that maybe an issue.

I just recently received the new program for my 06 from diablo, and towards fuel mileage - I got 1000km to my last tank. Going over two mountain passes, with 1500lbs in the box! Not sure exact mileage yet, but it does not seem tohave dropped for me at all!
