you can't... the earliest they even support is 1998... and if they DID have a '96 tool, it would be totally different from an '05, so you would need to buy a new Predator anyway.

aaah, that makes a difference... LOL

The Predator you have should be a U7140, which works on both 05 and 06 mustangs (4L v6) and mustang gt's (4.6L)

you have to restore your original backup to the 05 stang - this will "unlock" the Predator from that one, and then you can go ahead and hook it up to the 06 and tune away...
