Hey gents, I'm new here so hopefully these questions are not too stupid. I tried searching the forum before posting, but didn't quite get what I needed.
Here is my situation. I have a new 2010 Camaro SS 6-speed manual being delivered next week. After I drive it a bit (100-200 miles) I'm going to replace the camshaft, install 1 7/8" headers and a full Kooks 3" exhaust.
The problem I have is the nearest tuner is 200 miles away, so I was thinking about getting a Trinity and tuning it myself. However, I'm not sure if the Trinity is capable of tuning as effectively as a dyno tune.
The questions I have are:
1) Should I even be considering tuning myself given the mods I'll be making to the car?
2) Would I be able to get the support needed here on this forum to properly tune the car?
3) Would a dyno tune yield substantially better performance than a thorough Trinity tune?
4) Where can I find the recommended tunable parameter values/value-ranges specific to the 2010 Camaro LS3?
Thanks in advance for your input!

1. Those mods will require custom tuning.
2. Not to its full extent, no.
3. Yes, a custom tune loaded to the Trinity would work best.
4. Thats a loaded question, there will be 100s of changes need to dial in a camshaft in a 2010 SS.
