i am been having a problem with my duramax/allison i have the predator 1.11 set at +85 hp when i floor it, it runs great until u hit about 80mph at that point it down shifts and the check engine lite comes on and the tranny starts malfunctioning what other info do you need to help get this worked out? are there up-grades for my predator? if so would that solve my problems?

i talked to Gary at diablo he said the trouble code i'm getting (po 700 tcm) is the transmission control module which according to him is a tranny wear problem ,not in the predator tuner...any comments?

The P0700 is a Transmission Malfunction code it means that there are codes thrown in the TCM and you'll need a different device to read those codes. What you did was slipped the transmission most definitely you burnt your C3 Clutch plates this is a common problem and i only did this a few days ago in my 02 LB7.

The CEL should go away after a few starts but the transmission damage is there forever now, or until you rebuild the tranny.

Sorry to hear you limped but it happens and it really doesn't effect the transmission all that much. Just make sure that you easy off the gas at 80 or slightly before so your not applying all that power during the shift.
