I have a 2006 Ram with the 5.7L Hemi and I was wondering what spark plugs you would recommend since I am running a performance tune now. I have so far just done the basic's K&N Intake System and Exhaust along with the performance tune.
I have it set on 91 tune as where I live they do not offer 93 octane and I did not want to take a chance. I have been running a few logs and I am noticing some "Total Knock" up to 4.5 when I am not at wide open throttle but the map sensor is reading 13-14.5 psi.
Currently I am running Autolite XP's and thinking this maybe the problem since I am running Shell gas.
I plan on getting more logs which will include Short Term Knock & Long Term Knock, if that would be more helpful.
Any Help Would Be Very Helpful As I Am New To This,
Josh

Shell gas isn't real good. The "Top Tier" gasses use additives that hurt octane, and therefore cause knock. Try Exxon or Mobil.
As far as which plugs, I'm running NGKs in my 6.1. Had considered changing over to Bosch Ir Fusions like I had in my Bimmer, but the cost of 16 of them killed that idea.
