DCX Vehicle Update Instructions- Predator Already Updated
Follow these instructions if you get the message on your Predator that reads:"
This vehicle needs an update Download here: www.diablosport.com/dcx " and
your tuner is already on the most current revision. This is because the tool wants to update the vehicle’s stock calibration file,
not necessarily because the tool itself needs an update. We have configured the Predator to be able to run the same update function as a dealership’s equipment, so that you do not need to bring it in to them when the update is required. However, the tool’s firmware (the software that controls it) may still need an update first.
To determine if the tool’s software is current, boot it up by plugging it in to power, and look at the code next to the word ‘Predator’ on the main screen, it will read “v.#r##â€

It's fixed, but the instructions that you're looking at right now are the same instructions are in that in that link. I also posted them here for people that had trouble downloading a PDF file.
To find the files that you need:
Go to http://www.diablosport.com click Support, then Downloads, enter Vehicle Type or Predator Part number (U71##).

waited on hold for about 30 minutes before hanging up. I've been reading some of the info on the web sight and I just purchased the predator u7137 for a 2010 jeep wrangler rubicon unlimited. I was hoping for the plug it in and tune with ease but as soon as I plugged it in I got a message that said " your calibration is not supported we need to downgradeto continue: I clicked agreed, then I get a message that says this vehicle needs an update, update here. I see that there is a method to update, but I'm understanding I need to purchase additional equipment to connect my handheld to the pc? so that I'm clear, I cant use it until I update, and I cant update until I purchase the additional cable... is this correct.

All you have to do is hit 'agree' when then tool gives you the option to downgrade, then follow the instructions above. You will definitely need the cables described under 'purchase'.

I spoke with your tech support on the phone, they said I had to wait for a new release to be written. This is Chrylser's latest software update to an "H". No time frame was given. Tech support recommended that I do not downgrade per the programmers message.
Thanks!

Who did you call?
I would advise you let it do the downgrade, there must be some confusion.

The software upgrade that Chrysler performed addessed a DTC P0688 ECM/PCM power loss sensor/open relay, which totally shuts down the car. If I down-grade, wouldn't there be the potential to have the same failures? I would hate to go back to the dealership with the same problem and they notice the software update is gone, right? Technical bullentin 18-006-10 from Chrysler.

I keep getting the following message:
"An error occurred while trying to retrieve data from the server (no response). Are you connected to the internet? Are you running a firewall on your PC?"
I get this message on two different PC's, with Windows firewall on, or off.
